Transcorp Hotels Plc has announced the appointment of Mrs. Uzo Oshogwe as its new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2025. The notification was shared with the investing public and the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
Mrs. Oshogwe currently serves as the MD/CEO of Afriland Properties Ltd, a leading company in property management, investment, and development in Nigeria. With over three decades of professional experience, she has held prominent leadership roles at United Bank for Africa Plc and Accenture UK.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Ambrose Alli University, Edo State, and a Master’s in Information Systems Design from the University of Westminster, London. She has also earned a professional certificate in Real Estate Management from Harvard Business School, USA. Mrs. Oshogwe is an RICS-accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants. Additionally, she is an alumna of Lagos Business School and IESE Business School, Spain, where she attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and the Chief Executive Programme.
