Hilton Istanbul Airport has officially opened its doors, introducing a new level of comfort and convenience to airport hospitality while marking a major milestone for Hilton in Türkiye.
The 485-room property is Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ 100th hotel in Türkiye and the first internationally branded hotel located next to the airport grounds. Positioned just steps from Istanbul Airport, one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs, the hotel is designed to cater to business travellers, holidaymakers and transit passengers seeking a seamless stay before or after a flight.
Combining contemporary design with distinctly Istanbul-inspired touches, Hilton Istanbul Airport offers guests a calm retreat from the pace of the terminal. Spacious rooms and suites feature runway views, while the interiors draw inspiration from the city’s historic neighbourhoods, modern skyline and the changing colours of the Marmara Sea and surrounding skies.
Natural stone, warm metallic finishes and rich fabrics create an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, with carefully selected textures, materials and lighting reflecting Istanbul’s blend of heritage and modernity.

A major highlight is the Türkiye debut of OXBO, Hilton’s global dining concept. The brand operates across three venues within the hotel, including a restaurant, café and 24-hour bar. With locally sourced ingredients and menus inspired by regional flavours, OXBO is designed as a social space where guests can enjoy food and drinks throughout the day in an atmosphere that feels both contemporary and familiar.
The hotel also places a strong emphasis on wellness and relaxation. Guests can unwind at the spa, indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath, while the 24-hour fitness centre provides flexibility for travellers with varying schedules. The wellness area also includes three treatment rooms, including a dedicated couples’ treatment room.
For business travellers and event organisers, Hilton Istanbul Airport features eight meeting rooms and a ballroom accommodating up to 250 guests. An executive lounge overlooking the runway and airport gates provides an additional space for guests to work, relax or watch aircraft movements.
Beyond the hotel itself, its location offers a major advantage for visitors looking to explore Istanbul. A metro station directly opposite the property provides convenient access to the city centre and iconic landmarks such as Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
With its combination of airport convenience, contemporary design, local influences and full-service amenities, Hilton Istanbul Airport is positioned as more than a stopover hotel. It offers travellers an opportunity to experience a refined introduction to Istanbul, whether they are beginning a holiday, concluding a business trip or simply passing through one of Europe’s busiest aviation gateways.
