In a recent development, the Federal Ministry of Aviation has approved Air Peace flight operations Into New York.

In a letter addressed to the airline, the approval is in line with the subsisting open skies agreement between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United States of America (USA).

With this approval, it means Air Peace can now operate commercial international flights in and out of John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.

The airline was advised to liaise with the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) of the United States for documentation prior to resuming its operations while also complying with the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on the necessary requirements.
