7Star Global Hangar Ltd has achieved a major milestone in regional aviation maintenance following its approval by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) of the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) to perform base maintenance inspection services on TN-registered aircraft.
The certification officially authorises 7Star Global Hangar to carry out heavy maintenance checks, structural inspections, and other base-level engineering services for aircraft registered under the Congolese civil registry. It also strengthens bilateral aviation collaboration between Nigeria and Congo-Brazzaville while marking another strategic step in 7Star’s Pan-African expansion.
Chief Executive Officer of 7Star Global Hangar Ltd, Engr. Isaac Balami, described the approval as “a testament to our consistent pursuit of excellence, safety, and compliance with international aviation standards.” He added that the certification further positions the company as a trusted Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) hub serving operators across Central and West Africa.
The new endorsement is expected to enhance aircraft turnaround time, reduce maintenance-related delays, and provide operators with affordable, high-quality maintenance within the continent. Aviation experts note that such cross-border recognitions foster regulatory collaboration and advance Africa’s goal of industry self-sufficiency, in line with the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC)’s initiatives.
Engr. Balami also highlighted that ANAC’s approval underscores confidence in Nigeria’s aviation technical capacity and the oversight strength of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). He reaffirmed 7Star’s commitment to developing a competitive and safe MRO ecosystem that supports airlines and strengthens the passenger experience across Africa.
