Royal Caribbean Nigeria has unveiled its Summer 2026 Mediterranean cruise programme, inviting Nigerian travellers to experience multi-destination holidays aboard the new Legend of the Seas, the latest addition to the cruise line’s Icon Class fleet.

The summer itinerary is designed to offer travellers the opportunity to explore several Mediterranean destinations in a single trip while enjoying the convenience of unpacking just once. The cruise combines sightseeing with a wide range of onboard experiences, including entertainment, dining, wellness facilities and family-oriented activities.

Managing Director of Royal Caribbean Nigeria, Uloma Egbuna, said the programme is tailored to meet the needs of different categories of travellers, from families and honeymooners to corporate groups, schools, churches and first-time cruisers. She noted that guests can choose itineraries, stateroom categories and optional experiences that best suit their travel preferences.

The company said Legend of the Seas has been designed to accommodate travellers of all ages, from infants to senior citizens, with dedicated children’s and youth programmes, leisure and wellness facilities for adults, and accessible amenities for passengers with reduced mobility. It also offers accommodation for dietary requirements and other special needs when communicated in advance.

Guests will have access to a variety of complimentary dining options, with multiple meals served daily alongside selected beverages, while specialty restaurants, premium dining experiences, Wi-Fi and other personalised services will be available at an additional cost.

Royal Caribbean Nigeria also said the vessel is well suited for group travel, with coordinated arrangements available for families, churches, schools, corporate organisations and other groups booking a minimum number of staterooms. The company can also assist travellers with complete holiday packages covering flights, hotel accommodation, airport transfers, travel insurance and shore excursions.

As part of the Summer 2026 programme, Royal Caribbean Nigeria announced a special fare discount for customers who pay for their cruise bookings using a Fidelity Bank Visa Credit Card, providing additional value for Nigerians planning leisure holidays, family vacations, milestone celebrations or corporate retreats.

The company said the deployment of Legend of the Seas underscores its commitment to expanding premium cruise experiences for the Nigerian market, offering travellers a seamless blend of relaxation, adventure and cultural exploration across the Mediterranean.
