Radisson Hotel Group has awarded Park Inn by Radisson Serviced Apartments Lagos Victoria Island the Quality Accelerators award for Q3 2024, recognizing the hotel for the highest quality improvement within the group, with a GRI growth of 8.7% over the same period last year.
The certificate, signed by Radisson Hotels’ Global President and COO Chema Basterrechea, marks the first time a Park Inn by Radisson in Nigeria has received this honor. General Manager Rita Opiah expressed gratitude, attributing the award to teamwork and dedication. “Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success,” said Opiah.
With nearly two decades of hospitality experience, Opiah joined Radisson in 2018 and became the first Nigerian woman to hold her current role. She oversees daily operations for over 100 employees, as well as a multi-million-naira upgrade initiative currently underway.
Radisson Hotel Group, one of the world’s largest hospitality chains, operates over 1,380 hotels across 95 countries with 227,310 rooms either open or under development.
