President Muhammad Buhari has approved the appointment of Captain Rabiu Hamisu Yadudu as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
He is to take over from Engr. Saleh Dunoma who took on the mantle as the Managing Director two years ago.
Until his new appointment today, Captain Yadudu was the Director of Airport Operations of the Authority, a position he took up in 2017.
Yadudu, an ICAO/ACI accredited aviation professional with many years experience also holds professional certifications in Avionics, Airport Safety Management Systems, Airport Security Management, Air Transport Systems Management, amongst others.
In a statement issued by Deputy Director Press and Public Affairs, Ministry of Transport, Aviation, James Odaudu, the appointment takes immediate effect.
The statement reads, “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Captain Rabiu Hadudu as the new MD of FAAN”.
Yadudu an ICAO / ACI accredited Airport Professional, holds professional certifications in Avionics, Airport Safety Management Systems, Airport Security Management, and others.
