The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has attained two internationally recognised certifications—ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management Systems, following a comprehensive and independent audit of its operations by MSECB, Canada.
The dual certifications affirm that FAAN’s processes meet global standards for quality assurance, environmental responsibility and continual improvement. They highlight the Authority’s commitment to delivering safe, efficient and customer-focused airport services, while embedding sustainable environmental practices across all FAAN-managed airports nationwide.
This milestone enhances FAAN’s institutional credibility and strengthens the competitiveness of Nigeria’s airports within the global aviation ecosystem, positioning them to better meet international expectations and attract greater engagement from airlines, passengers and investors.
FAAN expressed appreciation to its stakeholders for their continued support and commended the dedication and professionalism of its workforce in achieving the certifications. The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to upholding international best practices and driving continuous improvement in service delivery across Nigeria’s aviation sector.
