Overland Airways, Nigeria’s longest-serving domestic airline, is excited to announce the commencement of direct flights between Lagos and Abuja, starting on August 9, 2024. This new service will feature daily flights, offering over 60 weekly frequencies between Nigeria’s economic hub and administrative capital. This expansion aims to increase capacity on the busy route, addressing the growing demand for reliable air travel.
The new service will be operated with Overland Airways’ brand-new Embraer E-175 jets, which boast a modern, dual-class configuration of Premium and Economy cabins. Passengers can expect a seamless travel experience with the option to upgrade to the Premium Cabin for added luxury and comfort.

In June 2024, Overland Airways received the second of six Embraer E-175 aircraft, with the first delivered in September 2023 and four more expected to join the fleet. The E-175 is a state-of-the-art, 88-seater jet known for its outstanding performance and reliability.
