Designed by the King of Morocco, the Royal Mansour Marrakech has been recognized for its exceptional hospitality, winning the prestigious Art of Hospitality Award by The World’s 50 Best Hotels. This luxury resort, nestled within the ancient walls of Marrakech, has been treating guests like royalty since its opening in 2010.
The hotel, comprised of a collection of private riads, is celebrated for its “outstanding” service and has become a benchmark in the luxury hotel industry. Set within six acres of lush gardens, Royal Mansour Marrakech offers a unique experience, featuring hidden tunnels and “secret doors” that provide guests with the utmost privacy and exclusivity.
According to the World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy, which includes around 600 anonymous hotel industry experts from across the globe, Royal Mansour Marrakech stands out as the ultimate destination for warmth and hospitality. “Providing each guest with their own private palace and personal butler, Royal Mansour Marrakech epitomizes the art of hospitality,” said Emma Sleight, Head of Content at the World’s 50 Best Hotels.
The hotel’s resilience was also praised after a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck central Morocco last September, damaging the historic Marrakech Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Despite these challenges, the Royal Mansour team continued to deliver first-class service to its guests.
Jean-Claude Messant, Managing Director of the Royal Mansour Collection, expressed his pride in receiving the award, attributing the success to the “fantastic” team at the five-star resort. “We want all guests to leave our hotels with the happiest and most magical memories from their stay,” Messant stated.
Royal Mansour Marrakech, which includes four fine dining restaurants, is considered the “crown jewel” of the Royal Mansour Collection. The collection also includes the iconic Royal Mansour Casablanca, which reopened in April, and the newly launched beachfront resort, Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay.
The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024 will be announced during an awards ceremony in London on September 17 .
