Binani Air has commenced ticket sales ahead of its planned inaugural operations on May 10, 2026, marking a key step in its entry into Nigeria’s competitive aviation market.

The airline announced that bookings opened at noon on May 4 via its official website and authorised travel partners, signalling its transition from planning to full operational readiness. The development was disclosed in a statement by Arit Effanga, Head of Corporate Communications, who described the milestone as a significant moment not only for the airline but also for the broader aviation sector, with potential to stimulate growth and job creation.

Chief Executive Officer Aminatu Dahiru Chiroma said the launch of ticket sales represents a turning point for the carrier as it prepares to welcome its first passengers. She noted that the move goes beyond simply offering flights, reflecting the airline’s readiness to deliver on its promise of a reliable and customer-focused travel experience.

According to her, Binani Air is entering the market with a strong emphasis on operational discipline, safety, and respect for passengers’ time, positioning itself as a dependable option in an industry where consistency and trust remain critical concerns for travellers.

The airline said it aims to differentiate itself through a seamless booking process, responsive customer engagement, and a service culture designed to prioritise professionalism and passenger comfort from the first point of contact.

With its inaugural flight date approaching, Binani Air is seeking to attract travellers, corporate clients, and industry stakeholders to be part of its launch, expressing confidence that its entry will help reshape customer expectations and contribute to restoring confidence in Nigeria’s domestic aviation space.
