Arsenal Football Club and Emirates have extended their long-standing partnership through 2033, continuing one of the most recognisable commercial relationships in world football and the longest-running front-of-shirt partnership in the Premier League.

The renewed agreement will see Emirates retain its position as Arsenal’s front-of-shirt and training kit partner, as well as the naming rights partner of the club’s stadium. The extension builds on a relationship that began in 2006 and has spanned the entire Emirates Stadium era.

The partnership has evolved alongside Arsenal, supporting the club’s ambitions while helping both organisations strengthen their global reach and create new experiences for supporters around the world. The renewal also comes as Arsenal celebrates its recent Premier League title success, providing a platform for both parties to begin a new chapter in their relationship.

Among the initiatives that will continue under the renewed partnership is the Emirates Cup, which brings leading international clubs to Emirates Stadium each summer. The Global Gooners programme, which gives Arsenal supporters from around the world opportunities to experience the club in North London, will also remain part of the partnership.

The next chapter will begin this weekend when Arsenal hosts Borussia Dortmund for the Emirates Cup. The occasion will form part of a wider programme celebrating 20 years of the relationship, with Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, joining Arsenal’s senior leadership for the celebrations.

Richard Garlick, Arsenal Chief Executive, said Emirates had been “an integral part” of the club’s journey, sharing in its defining moments, challenges and successes over the past two decades.

“Winning the title gives us the opportunity to be more ambitious and build on where we are today. Our renewal reflects a shared belief in Arsenal’s future and a shared determination to keep moving forward,” Garlick said.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, said the relationship had developed beyond a traditional sponsorship, creating opportunities for both organisations to connect with millions of Arsenal supporters across the Emirates network and around the world.

“Very few partnerships in the world of sport can claim foundations like these. What comes next is building on that strength for the millions of Arsenal supporters who carry this club with them wherever they are, in every corner of the world,” Clark said.

The two organisations will mark the 20-year partnership with a series of special events and supporter experiences over the coming weeks, reflecting on the milestones of the Emirates era while looking ahead to its next phase.

As part of the celebrations, Arsenal and Emirates have also launched a new cinematic film featuring Arsenal legend Per Mertesacker. Set in an antique shop filled with objects representing moments from the partnership’s history, the film revisits two decades of shared memories involving the club, Emirates and its global fan base while looking towards the future.
