Air Peace Airlines, Nigeria’s largest airline and a leading carrier in West Africa, has launched a new partnership with Opay to enhance its Internet Booking Engine (IBE) platform with diverse payment solutions. This integration enables customers to complete transactions through a variety of channels, including Bank Card, Opay Wallet, Bank Transfer, and Bank USSD. The collaboration underscores Air Peace’s commitment to providing a seamless and secure booking experience for passengers.
In a statement, Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, Head of Corporate Communications at Air Peace, emphasized the airline’s customer-centered approach: “At Air Peace, we are continually evolving to meet our customers’ needs. Integrating the Opay Payment Service into our booking platform aligns with our dedication to providing unparalleled convenience, giving our passengers flexible and secure payment choices in a single interface. Our mission has always been to make the travel experience as smooth as possible, and this initiative marks another significant milestone in achieving that goal.”
The Opay partnership is the latest in Air Peace’s series of customer-focused initiatives. In October 2022, Air Peace introduced its “Pay-Small-Small” plan with Kalabash, a flexible payment solution that allows passengers to plan and pay for flights in stages, making travel more affordable for a broader audience. That same month, Air Peace collaborated with AIICO Insurance to launch a comprehensive travel insurance product, further underscoring the airline’s commitment to passenger safety and peace of mind.
Founded in 2013, Air Peace has established itself as a leader in service innovation, from enhancing convenience with advanced payment options to expanding its domestic and international flight network. Driven by its vision to connect regions across Africa and beyond, the airline remains dedicated to delivering world-class service to its valued customers.
