TAAG Angola Airlines made a landmark appearance at the Dubai Airshow 2025, held from 17–21 November, by performing a static display of its Airbus A220-300, the first time in the airline’s history that one of its aircraft has been showcased at a major global aviation event.

The airline presented the A220-300 featuring its new livery and refreshed branding, giving visitors, industry partners, and international media an exclusive opportunity to tour the cabin and experience the advanced features of the modern narrow body jet.

TAAG highlighted that exhibiting the A220-300 at the Dubai Airshow marks a significant milestone in its strategic transformation journey. The airline invited the aviation community to learn more about its evolving product offerings and long-term growth strategy, which is focused on strengthening intra-Africa connectivity using fuel-efficient, next-generation aircraft like the A220-300.

The Dubai Airshow also provided a platform for the Angolan flag carrier to reaffirm its strategic growth trajectory and commitment to elevating customer experience. This comes as TAAG continues its ambitious modernization programme, including the full relocation of flight operations to the Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport, the airline’s new operational hub.

The showcased Airbus A220-300 features a 137-seat configuration, comprising: 12 Business Class seats, 35 Premium Economy seats and 90 Economy Class seats

The aircraft’s versatility, efficiency, and passenger comfort align with TAAG’s plan to enhance regional operations and support its mission of connecting African cities with improved reliability and service quality.
