Qatar Airways is boosting its services to Lagos this winter as part of a wider global schedule expansion that will see the airline operate nearly 3,000 additional flights in 2025. The World’s Best Airline, as voted by Skytrax for the ninth time in 2025, is increasing Lagos frequencies to meet rising travel demand and deepen connectivity between Nigeria and its global network.
Effective 15 December 2025 through 28 March 2026, Qatar Airways will expand its Lagos (LOS) service from 10 to 14 weekly flights. The additional frequencies will provide Nigerian travellers with more flexible travel options and smoother connections via Doha to key business and leisure hubs such as Delhi, Guangzhou, London, and more than 170 destinations worldwide.
The Lagos increase forms part of Qatar Airways’ broader winter schedule enhancements, which also include added frequencies to Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Singapore, Cape Town, Dublin, London, Phuket, Toronto and several other major cities. The rising demand for the airline’s acclaimed travel experience has led to a significant boost in capacity across its network, including the deployment of nearly 3,000 extra flights this year.
Travellers from Lagos will benefit from Qatar Airways’ modern fleet, featuring Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft equipped with high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. Qatar Airways is the first airline globally to fully equip and operate more than 100 widebody aircraft with Starlink, offering passengers in both Economy and Premium cabins free, gate-to-gate* connectivity at speeds reaching up to 500 Mbps.
As the airline continues to anticipate market trends and evolve its services, the increased Lagos flights reaffirm Qatar Airways’ commitment to Nigeria as a key gateway. The enhanced schedule will provide more seamless access for Nigerian passengers to destinations across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, strengthening Doha’s role as a leading global aviation hub.
With more flights, improved connectivity, and a technologically advanced fleet, Qatar Airways continues to position Lagos as a central touchpoint in its expanding global network.
