Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) Plc has reported a significant revenue growth of N28.9 billion for the 2024 financial year, representing a 74.8% increase from N16.5 billion in 2023. The milestone was announced at SAHCO’s 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held virtually.
The company also recorded a gross profit of N16.3 billion, up from N8.1 billion the previous year, and an operating profit before tax of N6.4 billion. Total assets grew from N34 billion in 2023 to N41.7 billion in 2024. Based on the strong performance, shareholders approved a final dividend of 60 kobo per share.
Chairman of the Board, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, highlighted Nigeria’s growing aviation sector and emphasized the need to overcome challenges such as infrastructure gaps, rising operational costs, and forex constraints. He noted that SAHCO is well-positioned to expand across Africa, leveraging regional opportunities.
Managing Director, Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, stated that SAHCO invested significantly in new Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to meet rising operational demands. Looking ahead to 2025, she expressed optimism, projecting further growth driven by an expected increase in domestic handling rates and a pipeline of new business opportunities.
She reaffirmed the company’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and sustainability, with a vision to establish SAHCO as the premier aviation handling provider in the region.
