Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is expanding its presence across Asia with the launch of three new routes. Starting July 1, 2025, the airline will introduce daily non-stop flights between Dubai and Shenzhen, while Da Nang and Siem Reap will be served with four and three weekly flights respectively, both connecting via Bangkok. This expansion strengthens Emirates’ footprint in East Asia, offering 269 flights per week to 24 destinations, making it the non-Asian airline with the most extensive route network in the region.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the airline’s commitment to enhancing connectivity across Southeast and East Asia. He highlighted Shenzhen’s role as a major technology and business hub, the growing economic ties between Vietnam and the UAE, and the significance of Siem Reap as a cultural and tourism destination. With these additions, Emirates aims to provide passengers with greater travel options, seamless connections, and world-class service.
Shenzhen will become Emirates’ fourth gateway in mainland China and the first to be served by its retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER, featuring upgraded Business Class seats and Premium Economy. The flight schedule is designed to optimize connections to key destinations across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. Emirates SkyCargo will also facilitate trade, transporting high-tech goods and e-commerce shipments from Shenzhen to global markets.
In Vietnam, the new Da Nang route marks Emirates’ third entry into the country, following Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The flights will connect seamlessly to major European and US cities, further strengthening trade and tourism links. Similarly, the Siem Reap service will provide convenient access for travelers from Europe and beyond, allowing seamless multi-city journeys through Bangkok.
Both Da Nang and Siem Reap routes will be operated with Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER, offering premium Business Class and spacious Economy seating. Passengers can expect Emirates’ renowned hospitality, with regionally inspired cuisine and an extensive entertainment selection on its award-winning ice system.
In addition to these new routes, Emirates offers multi-city journeys through Bangkok, taking advantage of its extensive interline and codeshare partnerships. Premium travelers can also access the newly expanded Emirates lounge in Bangkok for an enhanced airport experience. Travelers booking flights to these destinations can explore customized multi-destination journeys through Emirates Holidays, combining Dubai with Thailand, Cambodia, or Vietnam.
