ASKY has announced a major milestone with the arrival of its new Boeing 737-8MAX aircraft. This new addition replaces the airline’s first-ever aircraft, the Boeing 737-700NG, which has been a cornerstone of ASKY’s operations since January 2010.
In a press release, the Lomé-based carrier highlighted that the first aircraft completed 19,286 flights over 26,747 flight hours during its 14 years of service. This aircraft played a key role in ASKY’s mission of connecting Africa and promoting regional integration and air connectivity. Over the years, the aircraft helped establish ASKY’s reputation for reliability and safety, transporting millions of passengers across the continent.
The arrival of the new Boeing 737-8MAX marks the airline’s ongoing commitment to fleet modernization. With 189 all-economy seats, this advanced aircraft offers significant enhancements in fuel efficiency and passenger comfort, allowing ASKY to better meet growing customer demands.
