Aerokeys Nigeria has taken a significant step in advancing aviation safety and operations by signing a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Canadian safety systems firm, Tulmar. The partnership aims to enhance safety training and operational efficiency for aircraft cabin crew, setting a new benchmark for the Nigerian aviation industry.
Tulmar, established in 2007, is known for designing, fabricating, and servicing safety systems for the aerospace and defense sectors. The company specializes in custom management and operational services for aircraft cabin emergency evacuation training equipment. With this partnership, Aerokeys Nigeria is expanding opportunities for investment, job creation, and safety standards in the aviation sector, not only in Nigeria but across Africa.
“The aviation sector requires precision and accuracy in service delivery, with safety being a paramount operational priority,” said Aerokeys President and CEO, Mr. Kudla Milinda Satumari, popularly known as Haske. This partnership, he believes, will further boost Nigeria’s aviation sector and foster growth through international collaborations.
Aerokeys, headquartered in Abuja and recognized as a leading Aviation Training Organisation (ATO) in Africa, has ensured that safety equipment for training will now come from Tulmar, a company with decades of experience in manufacturing inflatable survival equipment for aerospace. This partnership is expected to bring state-of-the-art training solutions and safety management to various African aviation companies.
Mr. Haske is set to return to Nigeria soon for a series of training sessions with aviation companies and airline operators across parts of Africa, further expanding the influence of Aerokeys in the region’s aviation sector. These efforts are poised to solidify Aerokeys’ reputation as a leader in aviation safety and operational excellence.
