Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO), Nigeria’s foremost ground handling and aviation logistics services provider, has renewed their contract with Ethiopian, Virgin Atlantic and Delta Airlines for operations in Lagos, while Air France/Royal Dutch Airlines signed new contracts for operations in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
Ethiopian Airlines signed a new contract, which entails NAHCO providing warehousing services for the airline’s Lagos operations. In a statement signed by the Head, Corporate Communications of NAHCO, Samuel Akinrinmade, the company has also won the Qatar Airways’ Freighter and warehousing contracts for Kano and Port Harcourt.
This latest development indicates that Qatar Airways has assigned its total handling needs in Nigeria, to the responsibility of NAHCO, as there is already an all-encompassing Lagos and Abuja contract with the airline, providing them with passenger, cargo, and ramp handling services, as well as crew transportation and other ancillary services to the respected airliner.
In a bid to acknowledge the recent achievement of NAHCO, the company’s Executive Director, Commercial and Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, stated, “we are pleased with the patronage of our valued clients. We appreciate our ever-supporting Board and Management and the contributions of our hardworking and dedicated staff’’.
Lasisi further assured on plans to consolidate NAHCO’s industry dominance, and sustenance of the excellent culture.
