XEJet, a premium Nigerian airline, has announced the launch of its scheduled flight service, beginning with an inaugural Abuja-to-Lagos route on November 2, 2024. Known for luxury and customer-centered service, XEJet is introducing an all-business-class, 24-seater CRJ200 aircraft for its XEJet Premium service, focusing on providing a high-end experience tailored for business travelers seeking comfort and privacy.
The addition of scheduled services follows XEJet’s recent Air Operator Certificate (AOC) upgrade in September, which now includes scheduled operations. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the airline, which began as a non-scheduled operator in 2021. With this launch, XEJet will connect major Nigerian cities, including Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Kano, with plans to offer seamless and reliable service for business travelers.
XEJet CEO Emmanuel Iza expressed that the airline’s growth signifies its dedication to redefining air travel in Nigeria. “We founded XEJet to create a travel experience that exceeds industry standards in quality and convenience,” he said, adding that XEJet is built on the principles of safety, quality, and efficiency. “Our Premium service not only enhances convenience but reaffirms our commitment to excellence, catering to the needs of professionals who prioritize both comfort and productivity.”
Additionally, XEJet will soon debut its XEJet Express service on the E190 aircraft, configured with 104 economy seats, expanding accessibility to luxury standards for economy passengers. This service provides an economy option without sacrificing the quality XEJet is known for, making high-quality air travel accessible to a wider audience across Nigeria.
In keeping with its customer-centered approach, XEJet aims to keep fares competitive. “You won’t have to break the bank to fly with us,” Iza assured, encouraging passengers to visit XEJet’s website for details on pricing and offerings.
Addressing challenges in the Nigerian aviation sector, Iza outlined XEJet’s strategy for long-term success. By prioritizing financial planning, strong management, and avoiding common pitfalls, XEJet intends to establish a sustainable presence in the industry. He also acknowledged industry leader Air Peace for its achievements and shared XEJet’s ambition to reach similar milestones.
XEJet’s suite of services includes scheduled flights, charters, aircraft maintenance, and leasing. The airline’s diverse fleet includes Embraer 145s, 190s, CRJ Bombardiers, and luxurious Gulfstreams, Global 6000s, and Hawker 850s for charter services, underscoring its commitment to versatility and customer satisfaction.
