Transcorp Hotels Plc, the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), has announced its unaudited results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025, posting strong revenue and profit growth across key segments.

The company recorded ₦72.31 billion in revenue, a 49 percent increase from ₦48.49 billion in the same period of 2024, while Profit Before Tax (PBT) rose by 36 percent to ₦22.4 billion.

The performance reinforces Transcorp Hotels’ leadership position in Nigeria’s hospitality industry, driven largely by robust room sales and operational efficiency.

The Rooms segment remained the primary revenue engine, contributing ₦48.05 billion, followed by Food and Beverage at ₦21 billion, Shop Rentals at ₦1.36 billion, and Event Centre and Hall Rental at ₦1.15 billion. The Rooms segment grew by 50.7 percent year on year and maintained a gross margin of 87.5 percent with a cost of sales of ₦6 billion for the nine-month period.

In comparison, Food and Beverage rose 41 percent with a gross margin of 48 percent and a cost of sales of ₦10.92 billion. The newly launched Event Centre and Hall Rental segment, in its first full year of operation, also contributed significantly to the company’s earnings.

The company’s gross profit margin expanded to 76 percent, up from 71 percent in the same period last year, underscoring its focus on efficiency and superior service delivery. Trading at a Price-to-Earnings ratio of 99 and a market capitalization of ₦1.68 trillion, Transcorp Hotels continues to attract market confidence, reflecting investors’ belief in its growth trajectory and strong fundamentals.
