The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Aviance) has signed new and renewed handling contracts with five airlines—both local and international—marking another significant step in the company’s expansion as Nigeria’s leading aviation ground services provider.

Among the new deals is a five-year contract with Royal Air Maroc for cargo freighter and warehousing services in Lagos and Abuja. This agreement, which runs until November 2029, complements the airline’s existing comprehensive handling contract with NAHCO for all other operations across Nigeria.

Kenya Airways also renewed its agreement with NAHCO for another five years. The contract covers both passenger and cargo operations within Nigeria, including any new routes the airline may add during the contract period, reinforcing a longstanding partnership between the two companies.

Dornier Aviation signed a three-year contract with NAHCO for passenger handling services across key Nigerian airports, including Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Osubi, and others.

New domestic entrant Enugu Air has chosen NAHCO to manage its ground operations nationwide. The five-year contract covers full passenger flight handling across all Nigerian airports and marks a strong vote of confidence in NAHCO’s decades of industry experience.

Cronos Airline also renewed its contract with NAHCO for three more years. The deal includes passenger flight handling services in Lagos and Port Harcourt.

These contracts, both new and renewed, underscore a broader trend of regional, domestic, and international carriers turning to NAHCO for reliable, end-to-end ground handling solutions. The company’s growing reputation continues to attract top-tier clients looking for operational excellence in Nigeria’s aviation sector.

Earlier in the year, NAHCO signed similar agreements with regional operators Afrijet and Air Sierra Leone, further strengthening its footprint in the West African aviation market.

Speaking on the latest developments, Prince Saheed Lasisi, Group Executive Director, Commercial and Business Development at NAHCO, expressed delight at the new signings. “This is truly very good for NAHCO and the airlines we have signed these contracts with. When the client’s aircraft is on ground, there is just one company that can take care of its operations like her very own. That company is NAHCO,” he stated.

Group Managing Director, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun, described the agreements as “a positive indicator for the company’s future growth” and emphasized NAHCO’s commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.

With over 46 years of experience, NAHCO’s expanding client list and sustained performance reaffirm its leadership in aviation ground handling services in Nigeria and West Africa.
