The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced plans to collaborate with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to provide comprehensive training and retraining for its aviation workforce.

The partnership aims to enhance the skills of Nigerian aviation personnel, ensuring they meet global standards and contribute to operational excellence within the industry.

This initiative was revealed by the Acting Director General of NCAA, Capt. Chris Najomo, during a strategic meeting at the NCAA headquarters in Abuja with IATA’s Regional Vice President for Africa and the Middle East, Kamil H. Al-Awadhi.

The collaboration is expected to boost the development of the aviation sector in Nigeria by equipping its workforce with the necessary expertise to navigate the evolving global aviation landscape.
