Air Peace marked Valentine’s Day 2026 with the unveiling of its new Executive Lounge at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2, reinforcing its push to elevate premium travel experience across its expanding domestic and international network.

The February 14 launch ceremony drew members of the airline’s management team, staff, media representatives, and First and Business Class passengers on its London route. Among the distinguished guests was former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, who joined the airline in celebrating what it described as another milestone in its growth trajectory.

Designed as an exclusive pre-flight retreat for premium passengers, the Executive Lounge blends comfort and functionality within a refined, cream-toned interior. The facility accommodates over 39 guests and features six ergonomically designed recliner chairs to enhance rest and relaxation before departure.

Business travellers are catered to with a dedicated workspace equipped with computer monitors and printing facilities, while two private pods fitted with tablets and headphones provide quiet zones for virtual meetings or personal entertainment. An entertainment section with a large television complements a fully stocked bar offering pastries, soft drinks and a curated selection of beverages.

Passengers also have access to real-time flight information through interactive display monitors showcasing schedules, company updates and product offerings. The lounge is secured with a 24-hour, 360-degree surveillance system to ensure safety and peace of mind.

Speaking at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Nowel Ngala, described the project as a strategic investment in customer experience and brand positioning. He noted that the lounge reflects the airline’s commitment to delivering services comparable to global standards while strengthening its leadership position in West and Central Africa.

Peter Obi commended the airline’s continued investment in infrastructure, emphasising the importance of indigenous carriers raising service standards to enhance Nigeria’s reputation in global aviation.

With the launch of the Executive Lounge, Air Peace signals a renewed focus on premium comfort and service excellence, offering passengers a seamless blend of business efficiency and relaxation from check-in to takeoff.
