The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU), Abuja, has formalized a significant partnership with the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing academic excellence and providing practical industrial experience for its students.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at NCAT’s office in Abuja, with AAAU’s Registrar, Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, leading the university’s delegation. This agreement is a strategic move to offer practical training opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students at AAAU, particularly those in the Aviation Business program.

In his remarks, Abdullahi emphasized the rapid growth of AAAU and the importance of establishing collaborations with esteemed institutions like NCAT to ensure that students receive essential industry experience. He highlighted that this partnership is crucial for equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the aviation industry.

Joseph Imalighwe, the Director-General of NCAT, welcomed the AAAU delegation and expressed confidence in the success of the collaboration. He noted that NCAT has a history of fruitful partnerships and assured that this MoU would yield significant benefits for both institutions. Imalighwe also encouraged ongoing efforts to strengthen the partnership, reflecting NCAT’s commitment to fostering academic and industrial excellence in aviation.
